Yes! Amazing Food is completely free to use. You can discover dishes, rate restaurants, save favorites, and use all features without any cost.

How does location detection work?

We use your device's GPS to show nearby restaurants and dishes. You can allow or deny location access - the app works either way, but location helps us show the most relevant results.

How does the rating system work?

Our rating system uses stars. 1 star = poor, 2 stars = fair, 3 stars = good, 4 stars = very good, 5 stars = excellent.

Can I edit my ratings after submitting?

Yes! You can always update your ratings and reviews. Just go to the dish page and click on your existing rating to modify it.

Are reviews moderated?

We encourage honest reviews and have community guidelines. Reviews that violate our terms may be removed, but we believe in authentic user experiences.

How do I save dishes to favorites?

Click the heart icon on any dish card to add it to your favorites. You can access all your favorites from the main menu or your profile page.

Can I organize my favorites?

Currently, favorites are saved in chronological order. We're working on adding custom collections and tags to better organize your saved dishes.

Are my favorites private?

Yes, your favorites list is private and only visible to you. Other users cannot see which dishes you've favorited.

How do I use the map view?

Click the 'Map' button on the main page to switch from grid view to map view. You'll see all restaurants as pins, and you can click on them for details.

Can I get directions to restaurants?

Yes! Click on any restaurant address to open your device's default maps app with directions. Works with Google Maps, Apple Maps, and others.

Why don't I see some restaurants on the map?

Restaurants appear on the map only if they have location coordinates. If a restaurant is missing, it might not have been fully set up yet.

Is there a mobile app?

Amazing Food is a web app that works perfectly on mobile browsers. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience!

How do I add Amazing Food to my home screen?

On iOS: Open in Safari, tap the share button, then 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android: Open in Chrome, tap the menu, then 'Add to Home Screen'.

Does it work offline?

Some features work offline, like viewing previously loaded content. However, you'll need an internet connection to load new dishes, submit ratings, or use maps.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your profile settings and click 'Delete Account'. This will permanently remove all your data including ratings, favorites, and profile information.

What data do you collect?

We collect only what's necessary: your email, ratings, favorites, and location (if you allow it). Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.

Can I export my data?
